- A link referral to links mentioned in blog posts such as inferences to repo's and so on
- Repo tagging in blog posts.
- A screenshot preview of projects in the portfolio section.
- A library section. I'm an avid reader and the idea of having a catalogue that I myself can peruse later on books I've read, how I've felt about them and what rating I give them is something I'd like to implement.
- Push notifications. Currently on this website and my Portfolio Manager repo, there is a contact me section where people can reach out to myself/whoever uses my public repo. I plan to implement something like phpmailer to forward on notifications from this in house inbox to an email address. Think of it like being emailed directly from people contacting you albeit with a bit more of a filter.
- Notification badges. If people contact me or you (if you use my repo) you should be able to see at a glance if you have any notifications in the in-built inbox (similar to Facebook).
- A burger menu for mobile view and administrative options
- For academics who want to display their journals and publications, they should have a page to do so.
- A theme selector. I have already implemented a feature to change the colours used on Portfolio Manager but more customisability has always been the wish. I want to be able to have a handful of themes (including window stylings) and have the ability to save a theme, export it and import it (in case you want to share a theme with someone else easily).
I'll add some more post blog post. I've begun work on the library so I'll update the repo as it's done.
